POSITION SUMMARYThe position of Nurse Practitioner is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with exception patient care skills in a cooperative working environment with 4 other RNs and a NP and physician. The ideal candidate will be a Board certified Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner with minimum of 5+ years experience in out-patient setting. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: Job functions include but are not limited to:Direct care- 60-70% time- scheduled visits, walk-ins, emergency and first aidCreation of policy and procedures, standing orders for RNs as neededUse of an Electronic Medical RecordCommittee Work- Avian Bird Flu, Domestic Violence, as necessaryAnnual and other reports as requestedEmergency planning for department Assistance with electronic nurse line; Ask A NurseOversight of CLIA in house testingLiaison in-house pharmacy and physical therapyRequirements:Board certified Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner with minimum of 5+ years experience in out-patient setting.
